St. Joseph Regional Medical Center has taken great care to assemble a highly skilled and dedicated staff. Our doctors, nurses and support staff are dedicated to the safety, comfort and care of you and your baby. Family Beginnings at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center was designed to blend a comfortable, home-like setting with the very latest in medical technology. Family Beginnings enables mothers to labor, deliver, and receive immediate post-partum care in the same quiet, comfortable room surrounded by those with whom they wish to share this most intimate event. Mothers are invited to design their birth experience using resources that include whirlpool baths, birthing balls, music, and other comfortable features. Each mother can also take comfort in the knowledge that the very latest in medical technology, including a dedicated operating suite, is readily available if needed. The Center is protected by a state-of-the-art security system, so you can rest comfortably knowing your baby is safe, whether your baby is in your room or in the nursery. Family Beginnings is dedicated to offering each woman a uniquely personal birthing experience that will be fondly remembered for a lifetime. St. Joseph Regional Medical Center offers the only Level II Special Care Nursery between Spokane, Washington and Boise, Idaho.
