CENTURY CLUB 2007

A Remarkable Tradition with a Remarkable Membership

For the past 24 years, the Century Club has been a traditional part of the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Foundation.  This special group of people are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of many individuals throughout our region and beyond by providing funds for many various projects.

Proceeds from this year’s campaign are designated to help the Medical Center bring state of the art Digital Mammography & Digitized Mobile Mammography services to patients throughout our region.  Digital mammography uses computers and specially designed digital detectors to produce an image that can be displayed on a high-resolution computer monitor, and transmitted and stored like computer files.  This allows the radiologist to review images while the patient is in the examination room should there be any questions on whether additional images are needed.

Century Club provides members with an opportunity to network, see old friends and meet new ones.  The 2007 Century Club membership, consisting of approximately 320 members to date, had an opportunity to attend the first of two hosted private receptions for this year on May 15th.  Members enjoyed an evening of friendship, cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres and live piano music.  Theme-related raffle prizes were given away during the event.

The fall hosted private reception for 2007 Century Club members will be held outdoor on Wednesday, September 12 in the beautiful Carondelet Park.  It’s not too late to join the 2007 Century Club!  You may do so by calling the Foundation Office at (208) 799-5416 for more information or contact one of the committee members.
