Brenda McIntosh 2008 Employee of the Year


Brenda McIntosh, a 24-year employee of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, has been selected as the 2008 Employee of the Year in recognition of her many contributions.

Brenda McIntosh has been selected as the 2008 Employee of the YearBrenda McIntosh, a 24-year employee of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, has been selected as the 2008 Employee of the Year in recognition of her many contributions. Brenda lives out our mission, philosophy and values both professionally and personally. Brenda is known for her friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and genuine desire to improve and enhance the lives of those she serves and of those with whom she serves. She has an infectious zest for life and the ability to wrap her arms and heart around whatever she undertakes.

Brenda joined SJRMC in 1986 as a staff and charge nurse before becoming Staff Development Coordinator in the Education department in 1991, a position she holds today. One need only reflect on programs that she has organized or developed to understand the level of commitment she brings to supporting the growth and development of our staff. A life-long learner, Brenda is an RN and holds a BSN from WSU Intercollegeiate Center for Nursing, and an MEd in Adult Education & Organizational Leadership from the UI. She is also an ACLS and BLS/AED Training Center Faculty and Instructor. Brenda is highly respected and a valued member of the SJRMC team and can always be counted on to lend creative ideas and high energy to ensure the best possible outcome.
