Class A: All About Babies

All About Babies will be a class on basic baby care. This class will be helpful for all new parents who are unsure about newborn care. The class will focus on normal newborn care, such as bathing, skin care, how to manage crying, normal sleep for newborns, and basic growth and development. No Fee for this class.

Class A dates: February 11th, May 13th, August 5th, October 21st

Class B: Bonding and Emotional Development

In this class parents will learn about normal emotional development of babies and how mothers and fathers learn to relate to their babies. We will talk about common concerns that parents have about crying and infant temperament, normal emotional milestones, play with babies and discipline. The class will also discuss how a couple's relationship can be affected by a new baby.

Class B dates: February 18th, May 20th, August 12th, October 28th
Location: Idaho Street


Class C: CPR and Safety

Infant/child CPR and safety for a new baby/children will be covered. Attendees will complete the American Heart Association CPR for Families and Friends course. Course includes booklet and course completion card.

Fee: $20 per couple or $10 per person
Class C dates: March 3rd, May 26th, August 18th, November 4th
Location: Conference Room D at the Medical Center.
