Breastfeeding Basics
This 2 1/2 hour educational session for expectant parents can help moms make the confident choice to breastfeed. Topics include getting started with positioning baby and latching-on, recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as continuing breastfeeding whether at home or at work. Nurses trained as lactation counselors will answer questions and concerns regarding the beauty and benefits of breastfeeding. This class benefits partners too.
Pre-Registration is required.
