Gifts - Elizabeth Shop
The Elizabeth Shop is located across the skybridge from the Contemplation area on the second floor, just above the Emergency/Minor Care department and we invite you to come shop with us. You’ll see first-hand why The Elizabeth Shop is on the map as a premier shopping destination!
Sandy White, The Elizabeth Shop manager, is committed to offering a wide array of the latest and most sought after gifts, along with specialty items that appeal to the most discerning shoppers.
The Elizabeth Shop is a great place to purchase an array of environmentally responsible products including the Envirosax, an attractive, light-weight but durable reusable shopping bag that can be tucked in a purse or pocket for that quick trip to the market. A line of water bottles called Reduce is available, along with stainless steel water bottles and thermoses, some in the Curly Girl line. And while you’re shopping, check out the line of beautiful silk and tapestry jackets, crinkle skirts and fashion forward scarves and purses.
From its humble beginnings selling small toiletries, candy, gum and stamps, The Elizabeth Shop, named for its founder, Elizabeth Barnes, has become the Auxiliary’s major fund raising enterprise. Profit from sales, along with all other money raised by the Auxiliary, goes into a dedicated account to be gifted to the Medical Center in support of special projects that enhance the medical care available in our community. These annual and semi-annual gifts are typically in the $100,000 to $200,000 range.
The Elizabeth Shop carries fresh flowers from local flower shops, along with many silk arrangements and gift items suitable for patients. If you can’t visit the shop but would like to send something to one of our patients, phone orders are welcome; call us at (208) 799-5318. One of our volunteers will be pleased to assist you in selecting a fresh bouquet or gift and we’ll be happy to deliver it with your best wishes.
The Elizabeth Shop hours are 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., M-F, and 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday & Sunday.
