Anderson named Chairman of Hospital Board
On July 1, 2010 Kent Anderson, M.D., will become the Chairman of the 2010-2011 Board of Directors of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Dr. Anderson is a private practice Radiation Oncologist and provides medical direction and oversight for the treatment of patients at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Radiation Oncology Center in Lewiston.
Joy Rapp Ed.D. Superintendent of the Lewiston School District will become Chair Elect.
Outgoing Chairperson is Dr. Colin Doyle, a Otolarynagologist with Valley Ear, Nose & Throat in Lewiston.
Sister Esther Polacci, Executive Director of Mission at Lourdes Health Network in Pasco, Washington will assume the position of Secretary-Treasurer.
Other board members are Bob Coleman, Mike Day, Terry Kolb, Sister Anne McMullen, Marcy Spilker, Sister Mary Williams and Morgan Wilson, M.D.
The board's responsibilities include governance, strategic planning and policy formulation at the Medical Center to assure its ongoing mission and fiscal viability.
