St. Joseph Regional Medical Center’s Infectious Disease Services provide compassionate care to patients living with suspected or known infections.

 

 

We are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. We work in collaboration with your primary care provider to ensure seamless, comprehensive care.

Conditions We Treat

The Infectious Diseases Clinic diagnoses and treats both broad infections, such as bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic infections, as well as specific infections such as HIV/AIDS.

Diseases may include:

  • Bone and joint infections
  • Chronic lung or pulmonary infections
  • Fever of unknown cause
  • Fungal infections
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Infections of prosthetic devices (artificial devices, pacemakers, etc.)
  • Parasitic diseases
  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Tuberculosis
