What is happening?
St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and Catalyst Medical Group (CMG) have signed a definitive agreement for SJRMC to acquire CMG.
This partnership will create a more comprehensive and integrated healthcare system for our patients and community.
By joining forces, we will:
- Expand services in cancer, orthopedics, maternity, heart and vascular, neurology, wound care, and primary care.
- Create seamless care pathways across specialties to support patients more effectively throughout their healthcare journey.
We anticipate the transition will be completed on or around October 31, 2025 (pending regulatory approvals).
Why is this happening?
The opportunity to create seamless alignment between the organizations has been an ongoing discussion aimed at developing a more extensive, robust, and well-coordinated care delivery system for patients. By joining forces now, we will be able to build and sustain a strong health system for our region that unlocks opportunities for the future and creates a foundation to endure external market dynamics.
Why now?
Bringing CMG into the SJRMC health system allows us to:
- Strengthen and sustain a robust, coordinated health system for our region.
- Unlock opportunities to expand services and invest in the future of healthcare in Northern Idaho.
- Ensure continued access to local, high-quality, and affordable care for years to come.
What this means for you
- You will continue seeing the CMG and SJRMC providers you know and trust.
- You will gain expanded access to specialty services and a broader network of care.
- Together, we will deliver a better, more connected patient experience for the Lewis-Clark Valley.
We’re proud to continue caring for our community, together.
