COVID-19 Vaccination Information
Updated: Mar. 4, 2021
St. Joseph Regional Medical Center has been receiving several questions from our patients and community members about when the COVID-19 vaccine may be available to them.
We are continuing to focus on administering COVID-19 vaccines in accordance with prioritization guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the federal government and Idaho Dept. of Health and Welfare and our local Public Health District, which is directing vaccine distribution in our community.
Now, St. Joe's is joining efforts with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), Catalyst Valley Medical Center and Public Health North Central Idaho District to conduct larger-scale vaccination clinics. We are continuing to carefully follow the protocols in place and Idaho’s vaccine distribution timeline to vaccinate those that fall into the current and previous priority groups, which includes healthcare workers, long-term care facility residents, first responders, teachers, childcare workers, and people aged 65 and older who are residents of Nez Perce, Latah, Clearwater, Lewis, and Idaho counties.
The next, COVID-19 large-scale vaccine clinic will be held Friday, Mar. 19 at the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories facility located at 2821 Juniper Drive in Lewiston. Those eligible can please call 509.592.4784 to schedule a COVID vaccination. For the most up-to-date information on priority groups eligible to receive a vaccine, please refer to the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare's Vaccinate Idaho webpage.
Thank you for your patience and understanding – and for continuing to do your part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and practicing proper hand hygiene.
