SUICIDE PREVENTION HOTLINES
If you are suffering from a mental health issue, it is important to know that you are not alone and that it is ok to ask for help. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts or is in emotional distress, you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800.273.TALK (8255) or chat with someone live online at suicidepreventionlifeline.org/chat.
Additionally, the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline provides free and confidential support for people in distress, as well as prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones. The Hotline is available via call or text 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 208.398.4357, or chat online at idahosuicideprevention.org. You do not have to be experiencing suicidal thoughts to use the hotline. It is available to anyone experiencing any mental health issue.
